wow can't wait I have the Band of brothers I this looks to be a great one to watch the only thing is I dont have HBO what channel will they be showing this on ? is it HBO ?

lol I already have Dish and to me Dish is better then Direct TV everything on Direct extra cost more then Dish persay well might have to get HBO for a month just to watch this mini series lol

Yeah, I don't think its one I will buy on disk. It's good, but not great.

I just started to watch Band of Brothers again last weekend (for the 10th time).

I will have to agree that Band of brothers was way better then this series I was lucky though I didnt have to pay for HBO to watch this series I called up dish and told them that I was going to switch to Cable and asked what they would give me if I stayed and they offered me FREE HBO for 3 months yep thats right FREE HBO lol not to bad for an old bear this series is kinda boring to me some parts are good but nothing like band of brothers I won't be rushing out to buys this series anytime soon when it comes out once is enough for me.

OMG they killed off Basilone! Which I guess came as no surprize to American history buffs... but it shocked the hell out of me! Damn, I really liked him. I think I need some critical incident stress debriefing! Lol, nah.

Was driving past Camp Pendleton yesterday. I have been past there 500 times and it never clicked when watching The Pacific, part of I-5 is John Basilone memorial highway and just a little more north is Basilone Road.
